Known as Architect of modern India-Japan Partnership and the newly established Alternative Development Model (ADM)
Vibhav Kant Upadhyay is a development leader known for his statesmanship, macro-vision and pragmatism. A prolific out-of-the-box thinker, Vibhav strongly believes that the current development model needs a foundational change and has dedicated his life towards manifesting this thought process into visible and tangible results through the Alternative Development Model (ADM).
Vibhav’s leadership successfully catalysed the India-Japan Global Partnership (IJGP) initiative which was announced in the year 2000 by the leaders of India and Japan. With relentless persuasion, he has nurtured and strengthened the strategic relationship between the two nations. This has led to mega-initiatives like the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC), which was formed to re-establish the industrial culture of India. Therefore, he is widely regarded as the architect of the modern India-Japan relationship.
Vibhav’s leadership is currently dedicated to furthering the development framework of ADM and initiatives based on it through the manifestation platforms and organizations in India, Japan and Global Partners. Under this model, the collaborative strengths and resources of Global Partners are utilised to empower not just the developed but the developing nations too.
Vibhav believes that India and Africa are the socio-economic labs for the ADM model and Norway is the living lab. With one-sixth of humanity each in India and Africa, the adoption of ADM can become an example in the world for sustainable development for humanity.
Vibhav focuses on ethos of contributory, inclusive and accessible development, championing the cause of a common man. His initiatives have led to thousands of projects creating opportunities, employment and vibrant economy. Vibhav is the Founder and Chairman of various organizations including the Alternative Development Organisation (ADO) in Oslo, Norway, India-Japan Foundation (IJF) Tokyo, Japan and India Center Foundation(ICF) New Delhi, India. He is also the Founder Chairman of Global Partnership Summit (GPS), a platform to take forward the Alternative Development Model (ADM) framework and initiatives based on it by manifesting unique ideas into tangible outcomes by empowering G2G, G2B and B2B interaction.
The organisations will take forward seminal, innovative initiatives to establish ADM around the world focusing on areas such as Infrastructure, Healthcare, Agriculture, Education, Environment and Social Justice.
Vibhav was born in Agra, India. He has a Post-Graduate degree from the University of Allahabad. He has a second Post-Graduate degree from the University of Tokyo. Vibhav is prolific in Japanese language besides Hindi and English.

Atul Mishra is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in government administration and Rajbhasha Hindi. With roles spanning from Clerk and Accountant at the Office of the Accountant General, Uttar Pradesh (A&E) to Assistant Audit Officer at the Office of the Principal Director of Audit, Industries & Corporate Affairs, New Delhi, Atul has demonstrated a remarkable commitment to public service. His achievements include securing top positions in the official use of Rajbhasha Hindi and receiving commendations from the highest authorities, including a letter of appreciation from the Comptroller & Auditor General of India for his meritorious work in the Rajbhasha section. Throughout his career, Atul has exemplified dedication, proficiency, and excellence in his endeavors.

She is a Communications Strategist with a passion for New Media. She holds a Master’s degree in Multimedia Journalism from the reputed Media School of Bournemouth University. Ms Dewan has worked as a journalist during the tumultuous “People’s War” of Nepal reporting on various political and socio-economic issues such as the Maoist conflict, food security, conservation, environment and development. She has worked as a News Anchor and Producer. She is the founding Chairperson of Media Accountability Foundation (MAF), which aims to promote media literacy and ethics in journalism. She is the Secretary General of India Center Foundation.

Dr. Imam Umer Ahmed Ilyasi is the Chief Imam of the All India Imam Organization (AIIO). He is presently the Director of the School of Geopolitics at Manipal University, India. A gold medalist in Economics from Bombay University, Prof. Nalapat holds the prestigious UNESCO Peace Chair. The former Coordinating Editor of the Times of India, he writes extensively on security issues, policy and international affairs.

Dr. Vivek Lall has held various key positions with his last stint being as CEO and President, Reliance New Ventures Ltd. Reliance Industries Limited. Dr. Lall was heading the Boeing (Defence and Space) operations in India from 2007 till April 2011. Dr. Lall has now joined General Atomics as the global Chief Executive for international Commercial Strategic Development for General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems. He has been also recognized as one of the world’s top scientists of the twentieth century by Cambridge. He also has done his PhD in Aerospace and an MBA from US. He then worked with NASA Ames Research Center where he was part of a project undertaking research work. With a fellowship from NASA, he has done his PhD in aerospace engineering. Dr. Lall is also affiliated with the United Nations in New York to advise on Broadband and Cyber Security issues for unique challenges within the global community and provide services that will help address them.

Through the years, corporations like Nestlé, PepsiCo, Brittania, Levers have continued to communicate their brand stories through Prahlad Kakar. Prahlad has ruled the ad film making business and has won several awards for technical excellence, Innovation and creativity in advertising over the years in India. Genesis won both gold and silver awards including campaign of the year for the Pepsi commercials at AAAI in 1996. The public films for Ceat won awards in the New York festival of Advertising. Commercials directed by Prahlad have also been nominated for Lions at Cannes.

Dr Rana has been promoting new concepts of urbanization for sustainable and balanced regional development of the country through use of Rail and Rivers as the prime corridors of development. He has also promoted the concept of Planned Urbanization with Rural Ambience [PURA].
He has received several awards including Distinguished Alumni Award (2006) from IIT, Delhi and Honorary Doctorate in Civil Law from University of Newcastle Upon Tyne (U.K.) in 2007.
He worked as President, Indian Building Congress; Patron of Institute of Urban Transport; member Advisory Council IIT, Delhi; Chairman, Buildings and Works Committee of Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology; Vice Chairman Engineering Council of India and several other bodies.
