Leaders Speak

The role of India Center in India-Japan relationship is significant. The foundation has been working for a very long time in ideating and authoring initiatives including but not limited to the Varanasi-Kyoto partnership, DMIC and high-speed train. In 2005, I visited India just ahead of the visit by the then Prime Minister- Hon. Junichiro Koizumi. At that time, Vibhav and I visited many key policy leaders including the then Prime Minister- Dr. Manmohan Singh and conveyed these ideas and initiatives. I look forward to India Center putting forward many such initiatives
Hon. Shinzo AbeFormer Prime Minister of Japan
India-Japan relations are based on shared values, convergent interests, and enormous opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation. The recent growth in our bilateral ties is increasingly based on the vitality of private partnerships that are being forged across a very broad range of areas. As I mentioned during my recent visit to Japan, the India-Japan Strategic and Global Partnership is important not only for our two countries but also for the future of our region and the world.
Hon. Manmohan SinghFormer Prime Minister of India
In his letter to Hon. Shiozaki Yasuhisa in 2013

India Center has played an important role in strengthening the friendly relation between India and Japan. India is moving on the path of rapid economic development.
A new identity of India is being created in the world.
In this fast-changing era, mutual cooperation will benefit both countries.
Hon. Atal Bihari VajpayeeFormer Prime Minister of India
The ancient ties and connections between our two countries must be further strengthened in the modern context of rapidly growing international interaction- both political as well as economic. I am sure we can do so on the basis of our shared values of democracy, rule of law, and respect for age-old Asian traditions.
Hon. L. K. AdvaniFormer Home Minister of India,
